Soil Trust (泥玩): Co-piloting Soil-to-Soil Food Economies

Soil Trust is an organizational design pilot that delivered an intersectoral social enterprise for bridging detrimental disconnects between consumers/producers, urban/rural, and benefits/responsibilities. Soil Trust engaged foodwaste producing and reusing audiences, including the hospitality and Food & Beverage industry, agriculturists, local food retailers, and individual food consumers. Soil Trust’s primary target audiences are hospitality professionals, food consumers, agriculturists, and young design talent in Hong Kong (people working in kitchens, farms, and design studios); secondary audiences worldwide are engaged remotely through project-related social media and publications.
